The house provides a safe, warm, friendly and comfortable vibe which is ideal after a long days work. The landlord is spot on and very engaging and supportive. The house has all the modern facilities one would need and is situated in a lovely location with all the needed shops and stores avaliable in the area. Shally, a property investor since 2015, began her career in design and merchandise, amassing valuable experience with four prominent consumer brands from 2009 onwards. Collaborating alongside Vik and Fred, she has played a pivotal role in sourcing, financing, and developing a multi-million-pound property portfolio over the past six years.
In her capacity as the Creative Director at Isteni Group, Shally is deeply committed to crafting aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces that enhance the lives of tenants. Her focus is on creating a positive environment and a comfortable living experience. Shally extends her expertise as a speaker and mentor for Fielding Financial, a renowned property investor training organisation, contributing to the growth and development of others in the field.
Beyond her property endeavours, Shally is a certified NLP practitioner, offering coaching services to clients aspiring to elevate both their personal lives and business ventures. Her multifaceted expertise and dedication make her a valuable asset in property investment and personal development.
Jags brings extensive logistics experience, spanning back to 2006 when he began his career as a trainee. Through dedication and hard work, he steadily ascended the ranks to assume the role of Operations Manager, overseeing a team of 25 professionals. His tenure in logistics equipped him with a diverse skill set, notably in the domains of time management and effective team leadership.
Since 2016, Jags has embarked on a parallel journey in the property sector, with a primary focus on project management, property portfolio management, specialising in HMO and Residential Block Management. This transition underscores his adaptability and the broadening of his professional expertise.
Jags brings a wealth of experience that seamlessly blends with the intricacies of property management. His keen eye for detail and strategic approach has enabled him to navigate the dynamic landscape of lettings with finesse. In the realm of lettings, he has cultivated a comprehensive skill set, excelling in ensuring optimal occupancy rates and managing tenant relations. This ability to integrate diverse skills, positions him as a versatile professional uniquely poised to thrive in the ever-evolving lettings side of the property sector.
Vik is personally involved with, and serves as project manager for, all Isteni Group construction and development projects. Most recently, he has overseen the conversion of a large commercial property into a 16-bedroom, high-end HMO, and the conversion of a pub in central Bristol into a collection of 6 luxury flats. These projects, together with his hands-on experience in completing a series of many other HMO and buy-to-let projects, has enabled Vik to develop an innovative and cost-effective approach to managing property development and construction projects. He has an infectious passion for delivering projects on time and within budget but with a laser focus on ensuring a high-quality finished product.
Vik came to the UK from India in 2005 and completed a degree in International Hospitality Management at Cardiff University. From there, he had an extremely successful 12-year career with internationally renowned hotel and hospitality brands. Through this experience and working exceptionally long hours, Vik gained valuable leadership and team-management skills and learned the critical importance of placing a high priority on ensuring overall guest/client satisfaction.
Vik’s property investing career took off in 2016, and he decided to focus full time on it. He and his wife Shally began their property journey by completing many property training programs but very quickly started investing in HMOs and buy-to-let properties. In addition to his work with the Isteni Group, Vik is a frequent speaker and personal mentor at Fielding Financial, one of the UK’s leading property investor training organisations. He also helps many aspiring property investors achieve success through his Elite Mindset for Property Success counselling programme.
Fred is an American lawyer who has lived in the UK since 1991. He brings nearly 40 years of expertise as a tax and legal advisor and former partner in renowned international law and accounting firms. Holding degrees in accountancy and law from Georgetown University in the US, Fred’s career spans both the legal and accounting realms. During his professional career, Fred has advised Fortune 100 and FTSE 100 companies, several of the largest global investment banks, and private equity and other investment funds.
As a Co-founder of the Isteni Group, Fred leverages his finance, tax, accounting, and legal background to drive the company’s accomplishments. He has been an investor in residential investment properties for 20 years and has developed extensive knowledge of the property sector in England. Fred has been involved with all the Isteni Group’s projects since 2017.
